I’ve spent the past 22 years as a public servant, pursuing justice in the courtroom first as a JAG in the United States Air Force, then as a federal prosecutor fighting organized crime on behalf of the Department of Justice. In that time I litigated more than 100 jury trials, and participated in countless hearings in military and federal court.
In 2017 Gov. Abbott appointed me to serve as the 352nd District Court Judge. I consider it a privilege to use my two decades of trial experience on behalf of the people of Tarrant County.

It was not easy to leave my family and deploy to Kyrgyzstan for six months in support of Operation Enduring Freedom as a JAG in the U.S. Air Force.
It was the right thing.
It was not easy to take on the drug cartel, work with federal agents for 2 years to investigate, prosecute, and get convictions in the case of a cartel murder in Southlake, Texas.
It was the right thing.
It was not easy to step into politics, following two decades of quiet public service, when Gov. Abbott chose me to be the 352nd District Court Judge.
It was the right thing.
Tarrant County deserves judges who will do the right thing, no matter what.
